Finedon lies four miles to the north east of Wellingborough. The splendid church close by dates from the 14th century and like many buildings in the old part of the village is constructed of local ironstone.

This large village has a population of about 4,000 and is well served with primary schooling, medical centre, community centre and shops for everyday requirements.

Golf is available at nearby Great Harrowden Hall and further sporting facilities in Kettering and Wellingborough.
