Sawtry is surrounded by gently rolling countryside with a number of footpaths and bridleways in the vicinity and has a range of shops, schools and other services within. The village is superbly located with easy access to the A1 (M) and A14 with Peterborough, Huntingdon and Cambridge an easy drive. The rail station in Huntingdon provides a frequent service to London King's Cross, with journey times from around 50 minutes.
