The village of Titchmarsh sits in an elevated position above the River Nene. Evolving around a farming community, the village is made up of predominantly houses and cottages constructed in local stone. Within the village there is a popular primary school, two public houses and the fine church of St Andrew.

The market towns of Oundle and Thrapston lie 6 miles to the North and 2 miles to the South West respectively. These offer a range of traditional, family run businesses, shops and restaurants set around their market places. There are plenty of leisure facilities in both towns and the surrounding area, including golf, sailing, fishing, hunting and swimming.

The village is well placed for access to excellent schooling, including Oundle (6 miles), Kimbolton (10 miles) and Stamford (18 miles).

There is also good access to the major towns in the area. Kettering provides a high speed rail link to London St Pancras, and Huntingdon and Peterborough are on the King's Cross line. The A14 lies approximately 2 miles to the South, providing excellent links to the motorway network and regional airports.

Titchmarsh is in the primary school catchment for Titchmarsh C E Primary and the catchment for the Middle School and Prince William School in Oundle.
