Southwick is an attractive rural village which evolved around the local farms and the 14th century manor house. There is evidence of a Saxon settlement in the village. The historic market towns of Oundle (3 miles) and Stamford (12 miles) each offer a good range of shops, businesses and restaurants, as well as excellent schooling, both state and private. The city of Peterborough lies approximately 13 miles to the East and offers extensive facilities as well as mainline rail travel (King's Cross 50 mins). Southwick is in the primary school catchment for Glapthorn C E Primary and the catchment for the Middle School and Prince William School in Oundle.
