The conservation village of Lowick is approximately 2.5 miles northwest of Thrapston, and approximatley 7 miles from Oundle.

The majority of the properties in the village are built in local stone with thatched or Collyweston slate roofs.

The village is surrounded by gently rolling countryside and ther eare footpaths and bridleways nearby.

The village is served by mains drainage and is visited by a variety of mobile services. It has a Post Office, village hall, playing field and a public house. A bus service operates to Thrapston, Oundle and Corby.

Shopping and leisure facilities are available in Oundle and Thrapston. More extensive facilities as well as main line rail travel are available in Kettering and Huntingdon, both accessed from the A14 which lies about 1½ miles to the South. 

Lowick is in the primary school catchment for Aldwincle Trinity C E Primary and the catchment for the Middle School in Thrapston and Prince William School in Oundle.
