Brigstock has a good range of facilities including a shop, post office, two public houses, primary school and a doctors' surgery.

The village is surrounded by gently rolling countryside and there are a good number of footpaths in the area, as well as a Country Park for recreation.

More extensive facilities are available in the market towns of Oundle and Thrapston. Kettering lies approximately 8 miles to the West and offers a good range of shops as well as mainline rail travel to London (St Pancras).
