Oundle was one of the first conservation towns in the country adn is noted for its 17th Century streetscapes. The historic Market place is surrounded by familr run businesses, shops and restaurants. Within the town or close by there are plenty of leisure facilities including the golf club, fishing, gliding, rowing, rugby, theatre, parks and country walks. There is excellent private and public schooling within the town. The Cathedral city of Peteborough lies approximately 12 miles to the North-East and provides extensive shopping and leisure facilities as well as a high speed rail service to London (King's Cross 50 mins) and the North. Oundle is in the primary school catchment for Oundle C E Primary and the catchment for the Middle School and Prince William School in Oundle.
